2. Copyright & Intellectual Property - USER RESPONSIBILITY

IMPORTANT: You are solely responsible for ensuring your designs do not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights.

• You warrant that: All content you submit (including prompts, text, and images) is either your original creation or you have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to use it.
• Prohibited content includes but is not limited to:
  • Copyrighted characters (e.g., Disney, Marvel, DC Comics characters)
  • Trademarked logos and brand names (e.g., Nike, Adidas, Apple)
  • Celebrity likenesses without permission
  • Sports team logos and mascots
  • Any other protected intellectual property
• You acknowledge that: We use automated tools to detect potential copyright issues, but these are not perfect. The final responsibility for compliance rests with you.
• Consequences of violation: Designs found to infringe on intellectual property rights will be removed immediately. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.

3. Design Ownership & License

• Your designs: You retain ownership of the original content you create, subject to compliance with these Terms.
• License to us: By uploading content, you grant TShirt.uk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your designs solely for the purpose of providing our Service (printing, displaying in gallery, etc.).
• AI-generated content: Designs created using our AI tools are subject to OpenAI's usage policies. You are responsible for compliance with their terms.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Create designs that infringe on intellectual property rights
• Generate hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Misrepresent the source or ownership of designs
• Attempt to circumvent our content moderation systems

5. DMCA & Takedown Policy

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

• Include: (1) Description of copyrighted work, (2) URL of infringing material, (3) Your contact information, (4) Statement of good faith belief, (5) Statement of accuracy and authority

6. Disclaimers & Limitations

• Service provided "AS IS": We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or quality of AI-generated designs
• No legal advice: We do not provide legal advice about copyright or trademark compliance
• Limitation of liability: We are not liable for any damages resulting from copyright infringement by users or any other use of the Service

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TShirt.uk and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, including but not limited to copyright infringement claims.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
